Who is Alfredo Morelos?
Alfredo Jose Morelos Avilez or shortly Alfredo Morelos is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a centre-forward at Rangers (the Scottish Premiership) and for the Colombia national team.
He began his professional career with Deportivo Independiente Medellin in his home country before moving to Finland to play for Helsinki outfit HJK, initially on loan then permanently.
While in Scandinavia, the striker said though it was tough to adapt to Finland, as his family decided to stay in South America, and he had to travel to Colombia every week to be with them.
In the summer of 2017, he moved to Scotland to sign for Rangers, for a reported transfer fee of £1 million.
Morelos currently holds the Gers record for most goals netted in European competitions with 23 goals.
The forward quickly became a favourite with Rangers fans, who nicknamed him El Bufalo.
What is Alfredo Morelos’s international career like?

What does the future hold for Alfredo Morelos?
The blue side of Ibrox were in real danger of losing their key player for several months, with the Colombian drawing the attention of big clubs.
In the summer of 2020, the 24-year-old Rangers marksman almost joined Lille as Les Dogues were looking for a new striker.
But ultimately, the two clubs were not able to agree on a transfer fee and the Ligue 1 side secured an alternative.
However, another great season with his team, Alfredo continues to attract the attention of European clubs with Porto seemingly the most interested side in securing the services of the Colombian.
Let’s see if the Rangers board manage again to keep hold of their star man.
