Who is Glen Kamara?
Glen Kamara was born 28 October 1995 is a Finnish professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Rangers and the Finland national team.
Kamara was born in Tampere, he started his career in England in the Southend United youth academy before making a move to Arsenal in 2012.
At first, Kamara arrived with the Gunners Academy. He went on to be an unused substitute for their UEFA Champions League games against Galatasaray in 2014. Kamara made his only appearance for the North London giants on 27 October 2015.
On 22 January 2016, Kamara went back to Southend in League One, on loan for the rest of the campaign. He has played six games, all but one as a starter.
On the deadline day of the summer transfer window in 2016, Kamara made a switch to Colchester United in League Two.
On 5 January 2019, Kamara signed a pre-contract with Scottish giants, Rangers on a four-and-a-half-year deal. On 31 January, this contract was brought forward when the two teams agreed to a £50,000 transfer fee.
Kamara has managed to found the back of the net for the first goal in senior club football on 27 February 2019, opening a 4–0 home win over his ex-club Dundee.
Since then Kamara has become a key player for Rangers and played a vital role in Steven Gerrard’s tactics last season helping the team to claim the Scottish Premiership title.
What are the plans for Glen Kamara in 2021/22 season?
Kamara has been a key player for Steven Gerrard last season, however, after the arrival of John Lundstram, he could lose his place in the starting XI for the 2021/22 season.
Rangers have claimed the Scottish Premiership title earlier last season and secured a place in the UEFA Champions League and their main goal is expected to defend the trophy and do their best at the European tournament.

Playing 28 league games during their title-winning season, no outfield player to have made more than three appearances produced a higher pass completion rate than Kamara 90.5%.
Speaking to The Sun in November 2019, pundit Michael Stewart praised Glen Kamara for helping Steven Gerrard’s side to transform their midfield potential alongside Ryan Jack and Steven Davis.
