Pundit talks about key detail in potential Kamara-Rangers agreement

A potential buy-out clause in Glen Kamara’s proposed fresh Rangers contract would be beneficial for both sides, so says ex-Arsenal and Everton star Kevin Campbell.

Kevin told Football Insider: “I think clubs are right to act smart these days and put these clauses in.“

“It’s good for the club and it’s good for the player because everyone knows where they stand if bids do come in. It’s very black and white. It could well be a part of the deal.

The Athletic claimed earlier this month that his prospective new contract at Rangers would include a compromise on a possible future departure from Ibrox.

The report adds that Rangers will look to allocate a big transfer fee for the Finnish star in the coming campaigns as they move to a “sustainable model”.

Liga Portugal Bwin giants have no financial power to sign Rangers star

For months, the Portuguese press had been saying that in case Steven Gerrard‘s Rangers failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage, the Portuguese side Porto would have an easier task in landing Alfredo Morelos.

So when the Gers were eliminated by Malmo a few days ago, several newspapers started saying that could be the club’s chance to finally land the Rangers man.

However, newspaper O Jogo reports that things still will not be so easy, as the difficulty to convince the Ibrox outfit of a transfer continues.

The outlet says Alfredo is ‘out of limits’ for the Dragons because the price of over €15 million demanded by the Gers continues to be an amount which Porto can not match.

Premier League club set their sights on Rangers attacker Ryan Kent

Leeds United are allegedly interested in signing Rangers’s Ryan Kent this summer. He had a fantastic 2020-21 campaign for the Scottish club, helping the club to their first domestic title in ten years.

As per The Athletic, the Gers could sell multiple of their players after crashing out of the UEFA Champions League in the qualifiers. One of those stars is Ryan Kent, who is being tracked by the Whites.

A report earlier this year had stated that the club may have to pay almost £18m for the 24-year-old winger. He was bought from Leeds United’s league rivals Liverpool for a sum of £6.5m two years ago.
