Rangers in danger of losing Glen Kamara this month

Newcastle United are interested in signing Rangers star Glen Kamara ahead of next week’s transfer deadline, according to TEAMtalk

The Magpies are looking at multiple players as a big proposal could force them to cash in on Isaac Hayden, and the Finland international star is one player the club’s recruitment team have already done extensive work on.

A late offer from Newcastle for the Gers man cannot be ruled out, but the Scottish Premiership side are hopeful of tying him down to a new long-term deal.

The 25-year-old is not short of suitors in the Premier League, and TEAMtalk claim that the likes of Leeds United, West Ham United, Arsenal and Wolves are also keeping close tabs on the player.

Rangers think PL club will once again try to sign attacker Ryan Kent

Rangers are reportedly braced for a fresh offer from Leeds United for their player Ryan Kent.

He has struggled for form this campaign but the former Liverpool ace remains highly rated. The Whites have long been linked with a swoop and had a bid knocked back last summer.

In spite of the fact that Rangers struggle to rediscover the form that led the club to become the earliest winners in Scottish football history, interest in Ryan remains.

Also, the Daily Mail are reporting that Leeds have all but given up hope of landing Club Brugge’s Noa Lang and they say the Gers are fearing the setback could lead the side back to the trail of Ryan who has long been a subject of manager Marcelo Bielsa’s admiration.

Alan Hutton not excluding possibility of seeing several midfielders quit Rangers

Rangers could sanction loan moves for “a couple” of players before next week’s transfer deadline, according to the former Gers defender Alan Hutton, who was speaking to Football Insider.

He suggested manager Steven Gerrard may struggle to keep everyone happy because of the vast number of stars at his disposal.

“That’s the hard thing that will land at Steven Gerrard’s door – having to deal with all of those players,” he said.

“There are nine players in those midfield positions, you can’t keep all of them happy. We could see a couple go out on loan before the window shuts. That’s a possibility.

“Gerrard obviously brought Bacuna in, he felt he needed him as an option. The biggest problem he will have is keeping everyone happy.”
