Rangers may entertain offer worth £15m for young defender

Rangers would only think about selling Nathan Patterson to the Premier League side Everton if they receive an offer close to £15 million.

So says former PL goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking to Football Insider about the 19-year-old defender.

“You’d have thought it would be double or triple that Everton offer. You think about to Thierry Small who’s gone to Southampton. They might get £5m for him, and he’s a 17-year-old kid,” Paddy said.

“Patterson is obviously a brilliant, established Rangers right-back who plays for Scotland, who is proven. I’m sure they are going to let him go, it won’t be for that much. They’ll want a lot more than that.”

The young full-back signed a two-year extension on his existing Ibrox deal in January that commits Nathan to the club until 2024.

Newcastle United keen on landing 25-year-old Rangers man

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is amongst the Gers’ most sellable assets and whilst the club try to tie him down on a fresh deal, Newcastle United are the latest side to be linked.

The Magpies are allegedly looking to bolster their midfield options. The 25-year-old Finland international Glen has been linked by TEAMtalk as Newcastle become the latest in a long-line of Premier League clubs mentioned alongside the player.

Brighton, Everton and Arsenal are amongst those who have most prominently been mentioned in the past but as things stand, the Ibrox outfit have an offer on the table for the star.

According to boss Steven Gerrard, this has satisfied his player’s representatives and it is up to Kamara himself whether or not he puts pen to paper on a contract extension (Rangers).

Rangers still in real danger of losing Ryan Kent

Leeds United are reportedly expected to make a fresh offer for Rangers star Ryan Kent this transfer window, as Marcelo Bielsa plans to bolster his wide options.

The Whites have been linked with a swoop for the player and a fresh update has now been provided about the situation.

According to Football Insider, a Gers source has claimed they’re expecting a bid from Leeds before Tuesday’s transfer cutoff, as Marcelo looks to launch a late move in the window.

Ryan has two years remaining on his existing deal, but the attacker may feel a fresh challenge is required
